Description | Description of requirements: See Statement of Work (SOW) for full details: The contractor shall provide the listed supply with incidental services to include all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, licenses, quality control, and other items necessary to provide the requested items within the attached salient characteristics. Incidental Services include the replacement of rollers and frame in the HDRS Building for 6 vehicle lanes with four strips of rollers, 6 vehicle scales with four strips rollers, and 1 pallet lane with two strips rollers. The DRC Building services include the replacement of rollers and frames for 2 vehicle lanes with four strips of rollers, and 2 vehicle scales with four strips of rollers. A guide rail will be installed to include primed, painted and ends welded on site to eliminate gaps. They will include infeed ramps and curved lead-in features at each end. The installation includes removal, laser alignment and concrete anchoring. Ball rollers for pallet intersections shall be stainless steel with scraper seals, and debris drain holes to prevent accumulation of sand and moisture. Scope of work to perform and provide: Perform removal of existing floor-mounted roller channels and structural side guides Install a replacement roller conveyor system with updates and adjustments to suit modern load ratings and dimensional requirements of the current air drop platforms. Restore the Heavy Drop Rigging Site (HDRS) and the Division Readiness Cage (DRC) assets to Full Capability (FMC) status. Replace HDRS rollers and frame Replace DRC rollers and frame Provide three, 12 months maintenance options plan that include quarterly inspection of the equipment. Supply/Equipment Specifications: HDRS rollers and frame: Maximum weight capacity is 60K lbs., static or otherwise. 6 vehicle lanes with four strips of rollers, 230ft long, = 6x4x230= 5.520ft, with a 4” roller center = 16,560 rollers (all are 2 ½” rollers with 11/16” hex shaft, half will be 10”BR, half will be 8” BR). 6 vehicle scales with four strips of rollers, 40ft long, = 6x4x40= 960ft, with a 3” roller center = 3,840 rollers (all are 2 ½” rollers with 11/16” hex shaft, half will be 10”BR, half will be 8” BR). 1 pallet lane with two strips of rollers, 270ft long, = 1x2x270= 540, with a 4” roller center = 1,620 rollers (all are 2 ½” rollers with 5/8” hex shaft, 8” BR) DRC rollers and frame: Maximum weight capacity is 60K lbs., static or otherwise. DRC facility is the priority of work due to mission requirements. 2 vehicle lanes with four strips of rollers, 206ft long, = 2x4x206= 1,648ft, with a 4” roller center = 4,944 rollers (all are 2 ½” rollers w/ 11/16” hex shaft, 14” BR). 2 vehicle scales with four strips of rollers, 40ft long, = 2x4x40= 320ft, with a 3” roller center = 1,280 rollers (all are 2 ½” rollers w/ 11/16” hex shaft, 14” BR) Maintenance Plan: Three (3), 12 months maintenance periods, to include quarterly inspections of the equipment. Maintenance will start after equipment is installed and accepted by the Government and shall not include cost associated with standard warranty for the equipment and work performed. Repairs outside of the standard preventative maintenance must be submitted through the Government Point of Contact (GPOC) and approved by the Contracting Officer (KO) prior to work commencing, unless otherwise outlined within the terms of this SOW. |
