| Description | Contractor shall be responsible for designing, engineering, permitting, and installation of a new fire alarm system in the Detention Center located at 551 W. Main St., Tavares. The Prelude (east) section of the Detention Center is not included in this project. The new system shall integrate with the existing security system. The fire alarm control panel and associated system components shall be easily obtained through normal supply vendors and shall be non-proprietary. This is an occupied security facility, and access to most areas may be restricted. The fire alarm system shall be designed and engineered by the Contractor’s qualified engineer and shall meet all current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements, Building codes, local, state, and national standards. |
