Description | Inspections i. Inspections will be done on an as needed basis. ii. All work shall be performed by ADCI certified individuals, duly licensed and authorized by State of Texas law and in compliance with all AWWA, TCEQ, and OSHA standards, codes and applicable Federal and State laws. Upon award of agreement, bidder must provide UTRWD with copies of all applicable licenses and certification for divers who will be performing the services. iii. Bidder shall be certified to dive and inspect potable water systems. iv. Bidder shall be required to follow all OSHA safety regulations. v. An under-water inspection video, still photos of both the inside and outside of the tanks, certificate of inspection, and TCEQ qualifying written report detailing any deficiency with itemized prices to make repairs shall be provided. 1. Underwater video of the entirety of all tank, intake, or clear-well interiors is required. This may require entry at multiple locations. 2. Video shall be in HD resolution format, 720p or better. 3. Audio shall accompany the entire underwater video and provide quality audible communication that can be comprehended within reason. 4. Video shall be in AVI or WMV format and shall be delivered within thirty (30) days after inspections/cleanings are complete. vi. Tank Inspection Reports must meet or exceed the TCEQ requirements as found in: 290.46 vii. Bidder must have the ability to inspect Cathodic Protection Systems upon request. viii. Tanks must be left in service during inspections. ix. Reports are expected to be delivered within thirty (30) calendar days after an inspection is complete in electronic format. x. If a boat is required for intake inspection, it shall be provided by the Bidder. b. Tank Cleaning i. Cleanings will be done on an as needed basis. ii. Cleanings will remove sediment, debris, and calcium from injection lines (if applicable). iii. Bidder is responsible for removal and haul-off of all sediment and debris. iv. All work shall be performed by ADCI certified individuals, duly licensed and authorized by State of Texas law and in compliance with all AWWA, TCEQ, and OSHA standards, codes and applicable Federal and State laws. Upon award of agreement, bidder must provide UTRWD with copies of all applicable licenses and certification for divers who will be performing the services. v. Bidder shall be certified to dive and inspect potable water systems. vi. Bidder shall be required to follow all OSHA safety regulations. vii. Bidder must be able to provide cleaning solutions on tanks where the elevation and depth of the water level may not accommodate standard cleaning practices. viii. Tanks must be left in service during cleaning. ix. A video in electronic format (as described in section 3.v.1-4) shall be delivered within thirty (30) calendar days after cleaning is complete.
