Athletic Lighting Installation at Saraland High School

A cashiers check or bid bond payable to the Saraland Board of Education in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidders proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Owner. All bidders shall show such evidence by clearly displaying current license number on the outside of sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owners judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. The electrical contractor shall install all equipment necessary to provide a complete operational sports lighting facility. Attached are the purchased lighting designs and Light-Structure retrofit documents from Musco Lighting for the football stadium lighting project. The existing poles are Musco LightStructure poles and the electrical contractor will be upgrading the system to Musco ShowLight+ controls with Musco RGBW color fixtures. The electrical contractor will be replacing the pole tops, internal pole harnesses and ECE's along with adding the tablet controls for Show-Light show controls. The system will require a CAT-5 cable to be ran between the main control cabinet and the tablet for show controls. If there are currently data systems that are connected between the two locations, the electrical contractor can set the system up to utilize the system as it is now. Items to be provided and installed by the electrical contractor include, but shall not be strictly limited to the following: 1. Electrical wire (as needed). 2. Electrical conduit (as needed). 3. All labor and miscellaneous materials necessary to install replacement light fixtures. 4. All labor and miscellaneous materials necessary to install replacement controls
