Architect/Engineering Services - Northridge High School

Project Scope is based on the Northridge High School Investment Plan. In August 2021, the roof was replaced with assistance from a BEST (Building Excellent Schools Today) Grant-funded project. HVAC temperature controls have been upgraded and the boilers will be replaced by District 6 in summer 2022. A summary of major project scope items is listed below. 1.Revise main entry to create secure vestibule 2.Address slab settlement issues. District 6 has extensive data on existing conditions. Refer to photos in Appendix B. 3.Replace aging door hardware – will require full assessment 4.Remove and replace areas of worn carpet and flooring – assume full flooring replacement throughout facility 5.Paint and refinish walls based on greatest need. Add wall protection throughout corridors. 6.Replace chillers, cooling tower, pumps and chiller room distribution 7.Replace other HVAC equipment as determined by the A/E, CM/GC and District 6 8.Improve air distribution and quality 9.Electrical upgrades as required 10.Building room numbering + signage upgrade 11.Fire Panel Replacement 12.Fire sprinkler upgrades as needed 13.Ceiling replacement as needed only 14.Alternate - Replace Emergency Generator
