Description

The Consultant shall provide Traffic and Design Engineering for the intersection of SR 140 and Univeter Road. The intersection of SR 140 and Univeter Road experiences peak hour delays. The AADT on SR 140 in the vicinity of the Univeter Road intersection is 22,587. Approximately; 30% of the vehicles heading in the northbound direction during peak hours on SR 140 make a left-turn to head west on Univeter Road. The project includes the construction of additional travel lanes on SR 140, northbound and southbound at the Univeter Road intersection and the construction of dual left-turn lanes from northbound SR 140 to westbound Univeter Road, including receiveing lanes along Univeter Road.
