In order to be eligible to submit a Bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following disciplines: C008 General Construction Or C009 General Construction/Alterations & Additions Further, in the event the Bidder is not classified by the DPMC in the below listed disciplines, the Bidder shall be required to contract with subcontractor(s) that are classified in the below discipline, and such subcontractor(s) shall be required to be named in the bid and supporting documentation provided as per the bid instructions and applicable law. C029 Structural Steel (Major Trade Subcontractor) C030 Plumbing (Major Trade Subcontractor) C032 HVACR (Major Trade Subcontractor) C047-Electrical (Major Trade Subcontractor) Bids must be submitted on the provided forms and be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond drawn to the order of the "Englewood Board of Education" for not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall also include a Certificate of Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if awarded the contract for the Project, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance Bond and a New Jersey Statutory Payment Bond each in the full amount of the contract.
