NLH Pond Kettle Repair

Remove and replace damaged concrete in pond kettles at New London Hatchery. Primary project involves the removal and replacement of damaged walls, base pad and landing at the bottom of stairs in Ponds 10 and 11. Broom landing and base pads. Waterproof with Xypex or approved equivalent. Grade landing to form a slight slope towards the ponds to drain. Alternate 1: Pond 9 - Cut back on each side of upright section of kettle where slot is and rebuild 8 LF tall wall. Remove and replace the landing at the bottom of the stairs. Broom and grade landing so there is a slight slope towards pond to drain. Alternate 2: Pond 12 - Remove and replace landing at bottom of stairs. Broom and grade landing so there is a slight slope towards pond to drain. Alternate 3: Pond 6 - Remove and replace base bad and wall going back into each side where it slopes up. Broom base pad. Alternate 4: Pond 3 - Remove and replace wall going back into wall where it slopes up on each side. Alternate 5: Pond 2 - Remove and replace wall on two sides and patch bottoms on both sides of the outlet walls.
