Description

**As of  February 10, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline or award has not yet been established.**  Hinds County Elevated Water Supply Tank and Well the Project Consists of Site Development for the Future Construction of the Hinds County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Facility. Work Includes but is Not Limited to: General Site Work, Including Grading, Roadwork, Retaining Walls, Storm Drainage, Sewer and Water Lines, Security Fencing, and Site Electrical Service. Also Included is the Installation of a Water Pump and Water Tower System. Hinds County Board of Supervisors Reserves the Right to Waive Irregularities and to Reject Any or All Bids Submitted. Hinds County Has Established a Mbe/dbe Goal for Participation in Work of 30%. The Goal is Expressed as a Percentage of the Original Contract Amount and Will Apply Throughout the Project. Each Bidder Shall Make Good Faith Efforts to Ensure That the Mbe/dbe Participation Equals or Exceeds Hinds County's Goal for Such Participation and Shall Take All Necessary and Reasonable Steps to Ensure That Mbe/dbe's Have the Maximum Meaningful Opportunity to Compete for and Perform Portions of the Work. If Award is Made with Dbe Participation Less Than the Contract Goal, the Contractor Shall Continue to Make Good Faith Efforts Throughout the Project to Increase the Mbe/dbe Participation to Meet the Contract Goal.
