Description

To identify a classroom camera system that can be used by Teachers to assist in remote learning, to assist in PLC collaboration, and to assist teachers in classroom management. Responding vendors will be able to install their solution into up to 6 classrooms per school at no more than 2 schools across the district. Responding vendors may not charge the district for the demo system but may charge for the labor to install/remove the demo system as well as the use of the equipment. This should be listed in your response as Trial Phase Quote and should be itemized by labor cost for installation as well as removal, and any equipment cost for using the equipment for approximately 9 months. Responding vendors will be responsible for removing their solution at the end of the trial period, if the vendor equipment is not removed within 30 days of the notification of the end of the trial phase, then Dalton Public Schools may remove the Vendor System and salvage the items as part of the district’s salvage process. Dalton Public Schools will use the vendor solution in multiple real world scenarios to determine the ease of use of the solution as well as to determine and technical issues or limitations of the solution. The school district may work with vendors to overcome any obstacles and to identify the best solution / fit for the district. In the end a team of Technology, Instructional Technology, Teachers and Administrators will review the performance of each solution and select the best fit for the district. Dalton Public Schools will announce the final winner of the RFP by April 1 2022. That vendor will be able to work with the district through June 30, 2026 to scale the solution as the district best sees fit.
