Commissioner Room Renovations

Lee County is requesting informal bids for the demolition and renovation of the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room located at 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, NC. Demolition includes the removal of seating, carpet, wall panels, hand rails, stage and tables. Wainscoting is to be removed but all doors, window trims and door trims are to remain as is. All bolts should be ground flush with the floor and all residual carpet glue should be scraped clean. Contractor shall provide documentation showing proper disposal of material. Renovation should include installation and/or repair of drywall and painting of interior walls. Drywall is to be finished and painted in Valspar Heritage Gray 7007-24. Trim is not to be painted. Pricing for installation of carpet should also be provided as an option separate and apart from the main demolition and renovation. Carpet should be Shaw Commons Tile, with style number 5T323, Name concrete, and Color Number 23535. Contractors can call General Services at 919- 718-4622 to setup an appointment to view the project. Appointment times are available Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 11:30 am and 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Lee County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, any part of a bid and to waive the informalities & technicalities in the bidding procedure.
