Description | General Contractors who meet the requirements ofthe Contract are invitedt o submit sealed bids forwork involving the construction of a new 23,000square foot office building and related site worklocated at 1415 FreewayDrive, Mount Vernon, WA98273 for Skagit PUD(Owner). Bid Proposals and supporting documents received after the fixed times above will not be considered. The official clock for the bid shallbe the clock located at theEngineering Counter in thelobby of the Owner's offices. The bid and other data submitted will form the basis for the letting of acontract for the work. Proposals shall be submitte don the forms provided inthe contract documents,which may be obtainedas described below. Bidproposals shall be sealedin an envelope and addressed to Skagit PUD.No bidder may withdraw abid submitted for a periodof sixty (60) days after theday of bid opening. The Bid Proposal Form Band other required attachments will be accepted until 11:00 AM PDT, one hour after the submission timefor Form A. At which tim ethe bids will be opened and read aloud. Proposals shall be submitted on the forms provided inthe contract documents, which may be obtained as described below. Bid proposals shall be sealedin an envelope and addressed to Skagit PUD.No bidder may withdraw a bid submitted for a periodof sixty (60) days after the day of bid opening. Skagit PUD reserves the right to (1) reject any and all bids, (2) waive any irregularities and informalities in any bid or in the bidding,(3) change the date, time, and place of bid opening, and (4) revise the Contract Documents at any time prior to the day, date, and time set for bid opening by issuing addenda. This project is partially funded through the Washington State Budget, as such, state contracting provisions apply.
