Description | Project Description: Repair all damaged exterior stone masonry to match the design of the existing assembly and make a complete water tight system - to include patching, replacement with new material, and repoint all masonry joints. Other associated work includes: 1. Clean all exterior stone surfaces of the building, remove all biological and environmental staining. 2. Clean all exterior terracotta roof tile surfaces, remove all biological and environmental staining. 3. Movement fracture repair in stone. 4. Install lead joint covers on all horizontal joints in masonry. 5. All exterior wood surfaces shall be repaired or replaced with new wood. Existing wood surfaces to remain shall be scraped, and sanded; all exterior wood surfaces shall be primed, and painted. 6. Existing wood framed windows that are damaged shall be repaired or replaced. 7. Internal roof drains as indicated shall be lined using a cured in-place pipe (CIPP) restoration process. 8. Existing Gutter assemblies shall be removed, repaired, and replaced. Gutter assembly shall be lined with cold applied water proofing assembly. 9. Waterproof coating shall be applied to horizontal stone surfaces as indicated. 10. Apply a vapor permeable liquid moisture repellant product to all exterior stone surfaces. 11. Install complete UL rated Lightning Protection system. 12. Install new flashing at stone and roof intersections where missing. 13. Patch damaged portion of dome and scrape, and sand existing painted surface. Prime and repaint dome to match existing color. 14. Excavate perimeter exterior of building and apply exterior water proofing to existing foundation wall below grade. Install perimeter storm drain and backfill with granular fill. |
