Description | **As of November ,2022, project was awarded to File Construction LLC, awarded amount is $1,799,108.87.** Cottonwood Rural Water Association Artesia, New Mexico USDA/RD 2020 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS General Notice Cottonwood Rural Water Association (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Cottonwood Rural Water Association USDA/RD 2020 WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS Stantec Project #181301119 The Project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following Work: Bid Lot #1 6. The work includes 2" PVC water mains, 6" & 8 C900 water main, minor appurtenances, gate valves, combination air valves, fire hydrants, a pressure reducing valve vault, a master meter vault, water service meters, service lines, and other miscellaneous improvements. The work also includes a tank mixer, associated electrical improvements, and connection to the existing SCADA system at the Fire House tank site. The Project has an expected duration of 180 calendar days to substantial completion. Stantec will update periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through Stantec. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than Stantec. American Iron and Steel: Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. The following waivers apply to this Contract: De Minimis, Minor Components, and Pig iron and direct reduced iron. Instructions to Bidders: For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
