| Description | Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tobyhanna Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway. The 2022 Road Paving Base Bid Proposal for paving various roads located within Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County will generally consist of the following including other incidental items: 3,820 Tons of 9.5MM Superpave Asphalt, 180 lb/sy Wearing Course 2,550 Tons of 9.5MM Superpave Asphalt, 120 lb/sy Scratch Course 1,540 Tons of PennDOT 2A Stone Shoulders 15,650 LF of 4 Double Yellow Center Lines with Glass Beads 33,700 LF of 4 Single White Edge Lines with Glass Beads 630 SY of Flexible Pavement Base Repairs All materials must meet current PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. All bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at approximately 1:15 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Tobyhanna Township Municipal Building, 105 Government Center Road, Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania, 18350 It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded at the Tobyhanna Township Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 6:15 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows. The Tobyhanna Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township. PA Prevailing Wages apply to the In-Place Paving contract. |
