Description | Contract Id: DF00424 Tip No.:BR-0082 Federal Aid No.: State Funded Wbs Element No.: 67082.3.1 Route : NC 27 Location: Structure 56 at Upper Little River County:Harnett Type of Work: Grading, Drainage, Paving & Structure MBE/WBE 0.6% / 0.6% Description: Mini Roundabouts, Grading, Paving & Drainage Contractor's License: A General Contractor's License is required in order to submit a bid on any non-federal aid project where the bid is $30,000.00 or more, except for certain specialty work as determined by the licensing board. On Federal projects, the appropriate Contractor's License shall be obtained within 60 days of bid opening. For additional information, or to make application for a license, apply to the Executive Secretary of the Contractor Licensing Board, P.O. Box 17187, Raleigh, NC 27619, (919-571-4183). Prequalifying to Bid: All prospective bidders shall be prequalified as a Bidder or PO Prime Contractor with the Department of Transportation prior to submitting a bid. Contractors who are not prequalified may obtain information and forms for prequalifying from the Contractual Services Management Section of the Contract Standards and Development Unit at Website. All required prequalification statements and documents shall be filed with the Contractual Services Management Section at least four weeks prior to the date of opening bids. The Department of Transportation hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this Invitation to Bid, Minority Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in compensation to this award. A Bid Bond is required in accordance with Article 102-10 of the 2018 NCDOT Standard Specifications.
