JPA project no - 18008.00 (Construction) Project 538-18-102 Increase Back-Up Electrical Generation and Site Distribution Location: Chillicothe VA Medical Center 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, OH 45601-9718 The Contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing items, and furnish labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete all new construction which includes, but is not limited to, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing as shown on drawings and specifications. Base bid work includes general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, necessary removal of existing structures, a new medium voltage generator, replacement of automatic transfer switches, panelboards and pad-mount transformers, new HVAC systems and replacement low-voltage emergency generators, and certain other items. The work shall include infection control measures, and mitigation measures for construction-caused dust, noise, and vibration. The work will include phasing to accommodate the Medical Centers on-going operations. Multiple outages that must be pre-coordinated with the medical center will be required. All work shall be conducted in complete accordance with the project Statement of Work, specifications, and drawings. Period of Performance for this requirement is 540 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. NAICS 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. Business size standard is $16.5M. Project Magnitude for this project is $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. This is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All bidders must be verified in VETBIZ.GOV and registered in SAM.GOV at the time of offer and award to be eligible for award. To be eligible for award, all bidders must complete and return section 4.17 VA NOTICE OF LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING--CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE.
