Description | General lab cleaning of the class 100 cleanroom and non-cleanroom laboratories: - Vendor must have at least one year of experience working in a class 100 cleanroom and have the ability to work within cleanroom protocol requirements including appropriate gowning, cleaning methods, cleaning supplies, and cleaning techniques as outlined in ISO specification 14644, Cleanrooms and Associated Controlled Environments. - Stock chemicals. Load chemicals from receiving location, un-package, check into chemical tracking system, and stock in laboratory chemical cabinets. - Remove chemical waste. - Unload used chemicals that are in sealed containers from laboratory point of use to chemical waste accumulation site, document chemical list, initiate chemical pickup through internal NIST website. - Clean and restock chemistry glassware. - Take lab ware from dirty dish cart and run through cleanroom dishwasher then return lab ware to stocking cabinet in lab. - Take weekly inventory of supplies. - The CNST NanoFab inventories a variety of chemicals, lab supplies, safety supplies, and user supplies to maintain the laboratories ready to support its users. These items must be inventoried to determine usage rates and trigger reorders. - Inventories will be taken weekly and entered into a spreadsheet. - Test laboratory - Once a month, each cleanroom lab must have the airborne particle count tested to ensure proper operation of the environmental controls. This data is entered into a spreadsheet. - Once a month, each safety eye wash station must be tested and the test date recorded on the safety tag at each station. - Maintain laboratories - Each lab both inside and outside of the cleanroom must be serviced to ensure the area is clean and stocked for users. Activities include: - Check and refill gowning supplies. - Check and refill safety supplies. - Check and empty trash cans. - Check and refill texwipes. - Check and restock chemicals. - Change out safety garments weekly. - Wipe down horizontal surfaces. - Vacuum, sweep, or tacky roll floors/walls as needed. |
