Description

The Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority (GFIAA) is seeking proposals for SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL SERVICES for several roadways and parking lots at the Airport campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan, see exhibits for included responsibility areas. The initial contract term is for 3 years beginning September 1st 2022. GFIAA Reserves the right to renew the contract for 3 additional 1 year terms following the initial contract term upon mutual agreement of both parties Generating $3.1 billion in annual economic output for West Michigan, GRR ranks as the second busiest airport in the state serving 31 major market destinations with six airlines offering more than 140 daily non-stop flights. GRR also ranks as one of the area's largest employers with nearly 2,000 professionals currently employed. The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is managed and operated by the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all supervision, personnel, equipment, work materials and supplies necessary to properly and efficiently perform the snow and ice removal and disposal services.
