The School District of Springfield R-12 New Launch/PD Facility

The purpose of the commissioning process is to provide the owner with assurance that the mechanical, electrical, and control systems have been installed according to the contract documents and operate according to the performance guidelines set out in the design intent and these specifications. The CA will provide an unbiased and objective view of the systems installation, operation, and performance. This does not take away from the contractors responsibility to provide a finished product, installed and fully functional in accordance with the contract documents. The General Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, Electrical Contractor, and all Sub-Contractors shall be responsible for cooperating and coordinating their work with the CA. They shall be responsible for all physical activities required for installing the components and systems along with operating them during the commissioning process.
