Taylor Avenue Traffic Improvements - 40035 - City of Annapolis

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Annapolis, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project. This project is for the reconstruction and realignment of Taylor Avenue from Cedar Park Road to West Street. This work will include a traffic circle at the intersection of Poplar Trail, the Graduate Hotel Access Road, and Taylor Avenue. Partial funding contributions for this project will be provided by the developer of the proposed Annapolis Hotel. This work will also include milling and resurfacing the roadway, stormwater mitigation, stormwater infrastructure, new curb and gutter, updated hiker/biker paths, and sidewalks. As of June 22, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2024-2028 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2025. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
