Description | Online Bidding: available Pre-Qualification:Yes Description: A. This Project is anticipated to include anticipated to include the planning, design, and construction of a new 30,000 square feet administrative building for various County departments and agencies and parking to accommodate 150-175 parking spots. B. As part of its basic services, the selected firm will assist the Owner in developing the construction budget for the Project. C. It is anticipated that the Project will be funded in part, through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The Project will be subject to compliance with the requirements for ARPA funded projects, and the selected design professional must comply with related requirements and assist Owner with such compliance. Accordingly, the Uniform Guidance Appendix II to Part 200 Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts Under Federal Awards shall apply. D. The Owner anticipates that the Design Professional will assist with planning and developing the program for the Project and participate in or lead meetings with the Owner's Board and staff and to the extent feasible, incorporate their input into the 3 18163492v2 conceptual plans and design for the Project. The Owner also anticipates that the Architect will assist with assessment of the Project site identified by the Owner, assist with scheduling, evaluate potential operating costs, review reports related to and advise on site testing and development, in addition to performing design and contract administration duties. The Design Professional's scope will include design and construction administration services. E. The Owner anticipates that the Design Professional will assist with developing the anticipated schedule for the Project.
