Fels Avenue and Pier Avenue Drainage Improvement Project

Work entails the upgrade and replacement of the storm water drainage system at two locations in the Fruit and Nut Section of Fairhope, Alabama. The first location is on the south side of the 50 block of Fels Avenue west of the intersection of Bayview Street South and within 100 linear feet of the intersection of Short Street. The second location is on the north side in the 100 block of Pier Avenue just west of the intersection of Kumquat Street. Fels Avenue involves ±136 linear feet of new stormwater drainage and Pier Avenue involves ±144 linear feet of new stormwater drainage. Both project locations have work that includes but is not limited to inlets, junction boxes, placement of new reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), replacement curb & gutter, asphalt patching, driveway aprons, grading and stabilization.
