Description Provide Pima County with Pool Repair-Stone, Tile & Plaster, per specifications and requirements defined herein in the estimated amount of $200,000.00. 1. County will assist in removal of water from pool at the start of the project. 2. Contractor must remove and dispose of all existing coping stone. 3. Contractor must remove and dispose of all existing tile from surfaces, including: Walk in entry Floor returns Racing lines 4 Targets- 8 Zero depth Warning Five Foot Warning 4. Contractor will inspect and repair all plastered areas and prep for application of new exposed aggregate finish. 5. Contractor will epoxy coat/repair any identified rust locations in the pool prior to finish application 6. Contractor will install new tile work as follows: 1x1 white tile in zero depth entry 1x1 white tile around all floor returns 1x1 blue tile in six racing lanes 1x1 blue tile for racing targets 1x1 black tile for 5' warning marker 6. Contractor will match existing layout including existing width and length of all tile markers in the pool like for like. Tiles will be installed and grouted to industry standards. All tile work will be inspected and approved by a County representative. 7. Contractor will replace all six (6) 12" x 12" Hayward Virginia Baker Act main drain and waterslide covers. 8. Contractor will plaster entire pool using an exposed aggregate pebble finish in a light blue color. PEBBLETEC Final in standard light blue is an example of an acceptable finish. Contractor will provide samples and County will approve final selection of color. 9. Contractor will seal entire overflow trench surrounding the pool using Thoroseal or equivalent product. 10. Contractor will repair any areas of trench damaged during coping stone removal before new coping stones are installed. 11. Contractor will install approx. 380 LF of new Rimflow Kinematics coping stones around perimeter of pool. Rimflow Kinematics is a no substitute item. All stones need to be removed and replaced like-for-like, including; All twelve (12) stainless steel lane line anchors in their current position for racing lanes, zero depth warning, 5' warning and waterslide separation. 12. Contractor will fill the pool to operational level, County will turn on pool equipment. 13. Contractor will be responsible for all functions of the pool operation during the curing period of the finish including any needed pool chemicals and required brushing of the pool. County will assume the operation of the pool once the contractor confirms the curing of the pool is complete. 14. All tile and plaster work must come with a seven (7) year warranty against failures. 15. Throughout the project term, Contractor must keep premises clean and free of work related debris and protect all areas from damage including parking lot and gravel areas. 16. Project completion date is on or before May 1, 2019. 17. Awarded Contractor must order coping stones immediately after receipt of PO due to lead time.
