Taxiway F Pavement Rehabilitation

The project is generally described as pavement rehabilitation for parallel Taxiway F at Columbus Airport. Additionally, two connector taxiways will be demolished, and two connector taxiways will be relocated. The work elements include milling, asphalt pavement overlay, new pavement construction with aggregate base and asphalt, new taxiway edge lighting, new signage, pavement marking, minor grading/grassing, and other miscellaneous items. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, made payable to the Columbus Airport Commission, equal to 5% of the total bid is required. Contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. The Columbus Airport Commission reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to reject any or all bids or to award or refrain from awarding the contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Owner's best interests.
