Description Refurbishment of a rail tank car training prop located at the RCC Emergency Services Training Center. 5.1 GENERAL 1. Replacement of all gas piping, approximately 600 feet, which runs around the exterior of the tank car. Prop is fueled by LP gas. 2. Replacement of LP gas pump which sends fuel from the storage tanks to the prop. Current pump is inadequate and not working. 3. Moving of prop controls and construction of a six to eight foot platform with cover to better oversee training evolutions by the control operator. 4. Updating of prop controls to include current safety shutoff controls and igniter. 5. Relocation and replacement of underground gas piping as necessary. 6. Replacement of valves as necessary. 7. Electrical as needed for new pump. Current pump does has electrical service.
