East Springfield Neighborhood Improvements CDBG-CV Funding

The conditions of employment and wage rates as set forth by the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety and the U.S. Department of Labor shall prevail in the execution of the work under this contract. Estimated total cost of the project: $350,000.00. Project Scope: The City of Springfield is seeking to construct concrete sidewalks, driveways, and wheelchair ramps in the East Springfield Neighborhood. The project will also include construction of a curb extension bump out, installation of flashing pedestrian beacons and associated thermoplastic pavement markings. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts. All questions regarding the bid or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement no later than September 19, 2022 by 4:00 P.M. Reconstruction of approximately 1,200 linear feet of cement concrete sidewalks and driveways. Also planned is the reconstruction of approximately twelve (12) cement concrete wheelchair ramps. (Base Bid No. 1). o Construction of a curb bump out extension / pedestrian signal improvement project on Page Boulevard at Ardmore Street (Base Bid No. 2). o Installation ofthermoplastic pavement markings on Page Boulevard (Base Bid No. 3).
