Description | For the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the PANDORA WATER TOWER REPLACEMENT PANDORA, OHIO. The proposed work consists of the demolition of the existing 100,000-gallon water tower and constructing a new 200,000-gallon water tower. Project components also include construction stormwater management, water main and storm sewer piping, tank mixing equipment, fire hydrant installation, valves, aggregate road construction, security fencing and site restoration. The contractor shall coordinate with a System Integrator to purchase, install and commission two (2) variable frequency drives at the WTP and a SCADA/telemetry system. Bids will only be accepted from the Bidders listed on the Engineer's Official plan holders list. Bidders must contact Bockrath & Associates Engineering and Surveying, LLC, by Phone at 419-523-5789 or email troy@bockrath-es.com to request to be registered on the Engineer's Official plan holders list. Bids must be submitted on the unbound Bid Forms furnished with the Bidding Documents and must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code or a Bid Security furnished in Bond Form, issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of comparable size and complexity. Bids shall be sealed and marked as - Bid for the PANDORA WATER TOWER REPLACEMENT, VILLAGE of PANDORA, OHIO and hand delivered or mailed to: VILLAGE OF PANDORA C/O KIM REESE - FISCAL OFFICER 102 S. JEFFERSON STREET PO BOX 193 PANDORA, OHIO 45877 EGAL NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID 1. Sealed bids for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the PANDORA WATER TOWER REPLACEMENT PANDORA, OHIO will be received by the Village of Pandora at the Pandora Municipal Building located at 102 S. Jefferson Street, Pandora, Ohio 45877 until: 1:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME THURSDAY, APRIL 6th, 2023 and at that time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. 2. The proposed work consists of the demolition of the existing 100,000-gallon water tower and constructing a new 200,000-gallon water tower. Engineer's Base Bid Cost Estimate is $2,200,000. 4. A hard copy of the Bid Documents and Plan Set may be purchased at a cost of $50.00 (non-refundable) and/or PDFs of the Bid Documents and Plan Set are available electronically at www.bockrath-es.com at no cost. 5. JEFFERSON STREET PO BOX 193 PANDORA, OHIO 45877 This project is partially funded by a grant from the ODOD Water & Wastewater Infrastructure Program, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Residential Public Infrastructure Grant Program (RPIG) and a grant / loan from the OPWC SCIP Program. Attention must be given to all the requirements contained in the project documents, including the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions. The Village of Pandora reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work. WBE (6.9%) Substantial Completion - June 1, 2024; Final Completion - October 1, 2024 |
