Description

At said time and place, all Bids that have been timely received in compliance with the requirements of this Invitation to Bid and the applicable contract documents (the Contract Documents ). The two well sites (the Site ) on which all work (the Work ) on the Project shall occur is located near Parker, Colorado, which is within the boundaries of the Owner and located in Douglas County, Colorado. The Work will be performed under a single contract and shall include the materials and installation of all materials, labor and equipment as indicated on the drawings and in the technical specifications and as otherwise required to install pumping equipment and conduct pumping system startup testing in two recently completed Denver Basin aquifer wells (CDWR Permits 17934-R-F, Well L and 85229-F, Well A6). Checks should be made payable to the Owner. Contract Documents shall not be redistributed to preserve integrity of Owner s list for updates and changes. Bidders may request interpretations or clarifications of the Contract Documents from the Engineer by telephone or electronic mail. The Owner will not be bound or responsible for any explanations or interpretations other than those given in writing by the Engineer. No oral interpretations shall be binding on the Owner. The deadline for requesting interpretations or clarifications from the Owner or Engineer is 4:00 pm on Tuesday August 30, 2022. SITE VISIT: Prospective Bidders may arrange to visit the Site by contacting the Owner. BONDS AND SECURITY: A Bid Security Bond, in an amount equal to of the Bidder s price must accompany the Bid. All required bonds shall be in a form satisfactory to the Owner. INSURANCE: The successful Bidder will be required to submit a Certificate of Insurance demonstrating that the Bidder carries insurance coverage with limits of not less than those set forth in the Insurance Requirements included as Section 0840 of the Contract Documents: Worker s Compensation Insurance, Employer s Liability Insurance, Commercial General Liability Insurance, Automobile Liability Insurance, Umbrella Liability Insurance, and Builder s Risk Property Insurance. SPECIAL CONTRACT PROVISIONS: Part 2.6 (B) of the General Conditions contains provisions concerning the employment of or contracting with illegal aliens. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of fifty (50) days after the Bid Opening. SCHEDULE: Work shall commence within 14 days after the date of issuance of a Notice of Award in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. The Notice of Award will be issued on or about Monday, September 5, 2022. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, the right to waive any informality or technicality contained in any Bid and the right to waive any formality or technicality in the bidding procedures.
