Expand Midfield Facility - AF UMMC

This project consists of a renovation and expansion of building 9231 at the Air Force Academy. Building 9231 is a precast structure on slab foundations with a single ply membrane roof. The expansion will consist of approximately 8,100 square feet and will match existing facility construction of precast and aluminum storefront. The interior will consist of a mass briefing room, one-on-one briefing rooms, a cadet lounge, office space, and a dispatch center. The project will renovate approximately 3,400 square feet and will consist of a conference room, multiple offices, and a roof for multiple desktop computer simulators. The project will also relocate restrooms and address all utility systems, to include mass notification within the attached Air Traffic Control Tower. The project location is on the airfield at the Air Force Academy.
