Veterans Memorial Elementary School Renovation - Sub Bid

Renovations to the existing Veteran’s Memorial Elementary school located 39 Hurd Avenue, Saugus, MA 01906. The existing school is ~80,000 SF originally constructed in 2002, two floors, with masonry and glass walls and EPDM roofs. It is currently housing PK-5 students; renovations/selective upgrades to create a lower elementary school for PK-2 students. Scope includes but is not limited to upgrades to rear service drive and utility area. Removal of a modular structure and construction of a new playground; selective upgrades to drainage structures and drainage. Envelope upgrades include work to the existing curtain wall with an alternate for complete replacement. Selective interior improvements include but may not be limited to ~3,000 SF of renovations including new WCs, reconfiguration of limited classroom areas, new entrance vestibule, as well as total interior ACT replacement and painting. MEP system upgrades included for RTUs, chiller, plumbing to WCs and selective upgrades to the electrical systems, including replacing the fire alarm system and upgrading the security system.
