Oswego High School and Oswego East High School Track and Field Rehabilitation

Your company is invited to submit a Bid under seal to Owner (Oswego Community School District #308) for construction of the Oswego High School and Oswego East High School Track and Field Rehabilitation located at 4250 Route 71, Oswego, Illinois 60543 and 1525 Harvey Road, Oswego, Illinois 60543 respectively. Oswego High School: Grind/strip existing rubber surface from the track and field event spaces and clean surface. Installation of new latex bound rubber surface and re-stripe. Oswego East High School Track: Grind/strip existing rubber surface from track, mill existing asphalt surface, demo pole vault runway, planting box and pit pad, demo runway and pit for long jump, demo asphalt at North D-Zone. Place new asphalt surface on track. Construct pole vault runway, plant box and pit pad in new location, Construct two (2) long jump runways and sand pits in new location. Construct new D-Zone (South end), Place new latex bound rubber surface over track, long jumps runways, pole vault runway and new D-Zone. Restore all disturbed areas. Alternate #1 - Demolish existing track asphalt pavement, dress existing stone as needed, and replace with full depth asphalt. Alternate #2 - Construct concrete ribbon curb on inside and outside of track lanes. Owner requires the Project to be completed by July 21, 2023. Documents will only be released to interested General Contractor Bidders. Subcontractors will need to obtain bid documents from the General Contractor. BID SECURITY: Bidders will be required to provide Bid security according to the requirements in Document 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 31 00 - Available Project Information. A Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid is required. Refer to other Bidding requirements described in Document 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 31 00 - Available Project Information. Submit your Bid on the Bid Form provided. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any errors, omissions or irregularities in the bids or the bidding procedure when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve its best interests. Any bid which is not accompanied by the required bid security or by any other documents or certifications required by the Bidding Documents, and any bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular, is subject to rejection at the sole discretion of the Owner. GOVERNING LAWS AND REGULATIONS: Prevailing wage rates will apply and must be included in the Bid amount.
