Description

This project includes construction of a water booster station on Cape San Blas. The station will be installed in line with the existing 8” PVC water main and will consist of a triplex (20 Horsepower each) pump skid designed to automatically boost pressure between the water supply plants called LUCI I and II and the storage and pumping facility known as LUCI III. The skid and electrical components will be housed in a 14 X 20 feet building adjacent to S.R. 30-E (Cape San Blas Road). The project also includes cleaning and painting the hydropnueumatic tank at the LUCI II plant and the following improvements at the LUCI III plant: new generator and automatic transfer switch with electrical upgrades, replacing the ground storage tank roof, finished water flow meter, and general building repairs and painting.
