Description | McKenzie Commercial Contractors, Inc., acting as Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the Oakland School District, will receive subcontractor bids for the Lincoln Middle School Design Build HVAC Upgrades project, as follows: Briefly, the project consists of designing and installing new HVAC system to accommodate gymnasium, hallway, offices, and restrooms. Previously, components of this HVAC scope were part of the Lincoln Middle School Seismic Retrofit Project. Currently they have been removed from the Seismic Retrofit to this HVAC project. ZCS Engineering /Architecture has been retained by Oakland School District to perform architectural, civil, and structural design services. Proposers will provide complete preconstruction and design services in coordination with the Owner and ZCS Engineering /Architecture that includes producing cost estimates, attending design coordination meetings, production of design development and final construction documents and drawings that fully comply with Building Code requirements for the project. Bids for the Lincoln Middle School Design Build HVAC Upgrades project, may, at Bidders option, be faxed or emailed in accordance with the Bidding Requirements directly to the CM/GC as follows: Fax: 541-343-3306 Email: tdemasters@mccmail.biz .All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Late bids will be rejected as non-responsive. Attendance at the School Bus Maintenance Building Project Pre-Bid Meeting is non-mandatory, although Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend to familiarize themselves with the project conditions.
