The renovations comprise of alterations to the Garden (lower) level kitchen, conversion of toilet room to dry storage area, conversion of office/storage space to walk-in cooler and freezer, culinary classroom, and installation of ramp and double doors in exterior wall for deliveries. Additionally, above the altered spaces on the Garden level will be alterations to rooms and spaces on the Main and Upper levels consisting of new ceiling tile, lights, and HVAC. Plumbing work includes replacements of water heaters, sanitary, vent, domestic cold water, domestic hot water and domestic hot water recirculation piping. HVAC system includes partial demolition of existing steam heating system; installation of mechanical cooling to the lower level, kitchen exhaust system, mechanical cooling to various areas on lower level and upper levels. Electrical systems to include power distribution and support for new HVAC equipment; power and distribution for new commercial kitchen; new standard and emergency lighting on partial areas of lower, first and second levels; new addressable fire alarm system; new communications.
