Description 1. Install new Carrier 20-ton gas packaged dehumidification unit to serve the gym. This unit will need to feature Carrier Humidi-MiZer adaptive dehumidification technology for effective and accurate dehumidification control. Unit also needs to have the ability to offer A/C and heat to the gym area (if gas piping is extended and connected to unit). 2. Disable existing exhaust fans and gas unit heater that service the gym area and leave in place current locations. Remove existing fresh air damper to reuse wall penetration for supply / return duct plenums. 3. Pour new concrete pad at rear location of gym adjacent to existing fresh air intake for new unit base. 4. Install new packaged unit on new concrete pad at rear location of gym. 5. Install new return duct plenum and grille at existing rear fresh air intake. 6. Install new supply duct through existing fresh air intake. Install duct inside gym wall and terminate with supply diffuser(s) above return grille. 7. Install new controller located in gym office to serve new unit with protected remote sensor located in gym. 8. Provide and install new galvanized duct cover on exterior of building. 9. Install new electrical service from existing gym electrical panel to new unit location including new outdoor electrical disconnect. 10. Provide mechanical and electrical permits, fees, and inspections.
