CDBG-DR Housing Construction Services

Scope of services consists of new construction of multiple residential single-family structures in compliance with Local, Federal, and State statutory requirements to include the Federal Funding and Accountability Transparency Act (“FFATA”) for grant #B-16-MH-48-002 under the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (“CDBGDR”), and other funding sources, within the contract period. The City has provided three sample sets of housing floor plans (2-bedroom, 3-bedroom, and 4-bedroom). The City intends to issue on-call contracts to create a pool of 2-3 contractors to perform the services requested under this solicitation on an as-needed basis. The City shall assign projects to contractors based upon capacity, capability, and performance either directly or through a third-party grant administrator. Respondents to this Solicitation must demonstrate the ability to mobilize within 45 days of issuance of Work Order per project assignment and complete assigned construction projects within the contracted time. Work Orders may be awarded singly but most often will be bundled to provide contractors multiple homes under construction at the same time.
