Description

Two projects (JN 210167 & 210213) are being combined in this contract. Project 210167 is north of the railroad tracks and consists of HMA Cold Milling (2-inch depth) and flexible pavement patching (HMA, 5E1) on 422 feet of M-78. Project 210213 is from the I-69 interchange west to the curbed section of M-78 and consists of removing the existing 8-foot wide HMA paved shoulder and trenching a depth of 6 inches into the aggregate base. The aggregate base will be replaced and the proposed HMA paved shoulder (4E1 @ 440 lbs/syd)) will be 4-ft wide. Material obtained from the trenching process will be utilized in re-grading the aggregate shoulder. There will be a 1,000-foot section of shoulder (both bounds) gapped out in the vicinity of the twin culverts located at Sta. 581+37.
