Estimated budget: $420,000-$520,000 for Elem School and $120,000 -$150,000 for High School Project Title Genoa-kingston Cusd #424 Elementary School Re- Roofing / Mechanical Upgrades & High School Eifs Project. Bid Guarantee Bid Security, in the Amount of 5% of the Bid, is Required in the Form of a Bid Bond. Performance Bond a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond is Required in the Amount of 100% of the Contract. Rejections of Bids the Owner Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any and All Proposals and to Waive Technicalities. Cleaning the existing EIFS surfaces areas before re-skinning the original surface with new finish. c.Alternate A-3: Removing and replacing all EIFS control joints and backer rods. d.Alternate A-4: Removing and replacing all brick veneer sealant control joints and backer rods. e.Alternate A-5: Removing and replacing all sealant beads around all existing windows and doors. f. Allowance 3A: For quantity of 200' linear feet of 2" d x 12"h of possible moisture damaged EIFS base wall panel to be included in base bid. g.Unit Price No. 3: Removal and replacement of possible damaged EIFS wall panel for unit cost per 2"d x 12"h x 10'-0" linear feet. a. New exterior RTU serving existing gymnasiums, including the demolition of existing in-house mechanical building systems for this area. b. Replacing the current exterior RTU serving existing cafeteria and library, c. Replacing the current split units and replacing with two smaller RTU's d. GKSD CUSD #424 Has already purchased both the RTU's. Units to be delivered to the GKSD Elementary School Site. e. Removing and reinstalling existing exhaust fan hoods after installing new roof curb units. Allowing roofing sub-contractor curb work has been completed. f. Removing and reinstalling some of the current exhaust fans after roofing sub-contractor curb work has been completed. g. Alternate A1: Removing and providing new skylights with new curb units at 9 locations. h. Alternate A2: Removing existing skylights and curbs, than infilling with new metal decking and rigid roof insulation material. i. Allowance 1A: For quantity of 1,000 sq. ft x 1" in depth of New rigid board polyiso insulation to be included in the base bid. j. Allowance 2A: For quantity of 300'-0" linear feet of 2 x 8 wood blocking to be included in base bid. k.Unit Price No. 1: Removal and replacement of possible water damaged insulation for unit cost per 12" x 12" x 1" square foot. l. Unit Price No. 2: Removal and replacement of possible damaged 2" x 8" wood parapet edge blocking for unit cost per 10'-0" linear feet. m. New TPO roofing membrane along with additional rigid roof insulation phase one of two to be completed this summer the remaining work scheduled for Summer of 2024. he Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following two site locations with-in GKSD: Site Location #1 Genoa Kingston Elementary School. Located at 602 East Hill Street. a) Re-Roofing, Mechanical upgrades and (New skylights - Alternate A-1) and (Skylight Demo with metal deck infill - Alternate A-2) at Genoa Kingston Elementary School. The current facility consistence of 48,8500 sq. ft. of this roofing area. The scope of work will consist of 17,500 sq. ft of re-roofing and mechanical upgrades work. Site Location #2 Genoa Kingston High School. Located at 980 Park Avenue. a) EIFS Adjustment and new finish color, including the replacement of all existing expansion control joints and replacement of existing sealant beads around windows, door and other mechanical / wall penetrations.
