Construction Services for Academic Quad Steam and Condensate Replacement on the campus of Morgan State University

This Invitation for Bid is designed to obtain a contractor for the replacement of the main steam and condensate lines in the Academic Quad on the campus of Morgan State University. Phase 1 must be completed by October 15, 2022. Procurement Program Participation Goals MBE Participation (%) 15.0 Liquidated Damages may apply to this Project in the amount of $250.00/calendar day should the Vendor not meet the stated milestone dates. All contact between Vendors and the University will be formally held at scheduled meetings or in writing through the Issuing Office. Questions and inquiries must be in writing and received by the date and time specified by the Solicitation Schedule. Questions can may be emailed or faxed to the Procurement Officers Representative identified above. When the Base Bid exceeds $100,000, each Vendor must furnish a Bid Bond with the Bid, in a form and by a surety company approved by Morgan State University. The bond must be in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Base Bid. When the contract award exceeds $100,000, the Vendor shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.

Division 33 -	Utilities, Instrumentation and Control for Utilities, Water Utilities, Water Utility Distribution Piping, Water Utility Distribution Equipment, Disinfecting of Water Utility Distribution, Water Utility Storage Tanks.
