FY22 Neah Bay Hydraulic Dredging Project Details:U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District requires hydraulic pipeline dredging of a navigation channel at the entrance to Neah Bay, Washington. The volume of sediment to be dredged from the channel is approximately 41,000 Cubic Yards (CY) within the proposed channel footprint. This performance window is during the most challenging storm season and marine conditions. The dredging areas are exposed to strong and severe marine conditions. Neah Bay is near the outer coast of Washington with an outer breakwater for wave protection within the Bay itself. Marine conditions are subject to winter storms that hit this location. Dredging may commence after receipt of Notice to Proceed. All in-water work must be completed by 15 February 2023. See the solicitation for details about bid submission and virtual bid opening.
