RFQ Contractor - Hubbs Hall Plumbing and Slab Repairs - General Contractor

The prequalified Contractors will competitively bid for a lump-sum contract. The primary objective of the Hubbs Hall Plumbing and Slab Repairs Project is to address the major plumbing failures and structural voids within the building. Structural stabilization to be accomplished via pressure grouting the existing voids under the existing slab, which is approximately 4,000 square feet. Existing finishes will be restored to the existing preconstruction conditions, which includes walls, base boards, flooring, and painting where necessary. Existing equipment, fixtures and lab benches will be avoided to prevent major destruction to permanent items.Remove/abandon existing sewer waste, seawater drains and acid waste piping where it has been impaired. Re-route or replace where necessary. Remove and reinstall existing casework as needed to perform piping reroutes. The existing west storm drain piping will be abandoned and re-routed, while also replacing the West roofing systems. The addition of roof gutters at all the west overhangs will accommodate the overhang run off. The University seeks Contractors with demonstrated experience in infrastructure repairs and related major interior and exterior renovations within occupied laboratory facilities. Estimated Project duration: 200 Days The Contractor shall have demonstrated an average annual business revenue of at least $5,000,000 over the last five (5) consecutive year.
