Description | The Cuyahoga County Public Library is accepting statements of qualification and proposals to provide construction management at risk services for the new construction of the Parma Heights Branch Library Facility. 1. Clean site of approximately 3 acres provided by City of Parma Heights 2. The new approximately 20,000 ft2 building will be comprised of (3) distinct areas: a. 12,000 ft2 of library space b. 4,000 ft2 - 5,000 ft2 of Aspire Greater Cleveland office headquarters i. For more information on Aspire Greater Cleveland: https://cuyahogalibrary.org/services/adult-education/aspiregreater-cleveland c. 4,000 ft2- 5,000 ft2 of future CCPL partner space i. Shell space to be built out based on future partner needs 3. In addition to the typical library spaces designated in our Design Guidelines, the new branch will Include: a. A uniquely themed children's space b. A uniquely themed fireplace c. Outdoor programming space d. Drive-up lane with covered transaction window and book drops e. Drive through garage with a 10' X 10' operable door on both ends 4. A construction budget of $11,500,000 5. Designed to LEED Standards, although we will not pursue the certification 6. Include audio visual and technology design 7. Include SD, DD, and CD cost estimates with submittal packages 8. Construction administration, closeout, and 1-year warranty support 9. The new building must allow the following: a. A deep connection to the park system and nature b. Vehicular access to the cell phone tower located behind the property |
