Description

Pleasant Grove City is soliciting bids to remove and replace about 11,000 Square yards of pavement with some grading. Pleasant Grove City is soliciting bids from qualified individuals or a company to provide services for the 2022 Street Rehabilitation Project. The qualified individual or company shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the specifications, requirements, and terms of the IFB. Work covered with this bid will consist of removal of existing asphalt, remove and replace 2 cross gutters, lower and raise manholes/valve boxes to grade, regrade and supplement road base, potential soft spot repair, and re-pave asphalt as represented in the specifications and plans. Pleasant Grove City is soliciting bids from qualified individuals or a company to provide services for the 2022 Street Rehabilitation Project. The qualified individual or company shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the specifications, requirements, and terms of the IFB. Oral communications shall not be binding to Pleasant Grove City and can in no way modify the terms, conditions, or specifications of this IFB or relieve the successful firm(s) of any obligations under any contract resulting from this IFB. All Questions must be submitted before June 8th at 5:00 pm. General Instructions: Pleasant Grove City is seeking the services from qualified individuals or a company with the necessary qualifications and expertise to help with 2022 Street Rehabilitation Project. All GENERAL CONDITIONS set forth in the Standard General Conditions of the Construction Contract prepared by the EJCDC dated 2013 shall govern any contract resulting from this IFB. The EJCDC documents can be provided upon request. Construction standards and specification can be found on the Pleasant Grove City's website. Bidder Qualifications: Bidder must provide evidence that they are a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor in the State of Utah. Bidder must have proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance with Utah statutory limits and carry Commercial General Liability Insurance with a combined single limit of $1,000,000 each occurrence for bodily injury and property damage. Upon award of the contract resulting from this IFB, the successful party must submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the U.S. Department of the Treasury (Circular 570, latest edition). Pleasant Grove City intends will award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, for Base bid plus any combination of additive alternate schedules. Work covered with this bid will consist of removal of existing asphalt, remove and replace 2 cross gutters, lower and raise manholes/valve boxes to grade, regrade and supplement road base, potential soft spot repair, and re-pave asphalt as represented in the specifications and plans. Bids received after the date and hour established above will be considered late bids and will be automatically disqualified.
