Description

Consulting Engineering firms for Construction Inspection Services for a re-decking project on the North Span of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. This construction contract will be completed over a three (3) year period. Work is expected to include demolition and replacement of bridge deck with a cast-in-place steel grid. Some structural steel repairs are also required. AET (all electronic tolling) work at the east end of the South Span is included: installation of a gantry, prefabricated building and precast concrete roadway panels and eventual demolition of the existing toll plaza. Installation of solar panels on the south side of the North Span is also included. The project is being let under a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) and the winning Inspecting Consultant shall demonstrate experience in this regard.
