Description

The Chlorine Tank Leak Repair, Re-Piping and Level Transducer Replacement Services. The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet), Rector Reservoir Water Treatment Plant located at 7300 Silverado Trail, Napa, CA 94599. Chlorine Tank Leak Repair, Re-piping and Level Transducer Replacement Services. Contractor shall reroute piping and connections and replace with appropriate grade braid tubing, chlorine resistant isolation valves, and chlorine resistant connectors. Contractor shall cap and abandon both ends of existing supply line. Contractor shall pull new braided tube through existing two (2”) spare sleeve leading to distribution manifold inside treatment plant. Contractor shall follow appropriate safety procedures while handling liquid chlorine including spill mitigation and crew safety, Contractor shall remove and replace tank level transducer with new equipment ensuring it is compatible with existing programmable logic controller (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software. Contractor must check-in with the CalVet Contract Manager when arriving at the Rector Reservoir Water Treatment Plant. The DVBE Goal is 3%
