Safety and Resurface at Various Locations in Carroll County

Number: AC-STBG-NHPP-000B(727)E For Safety and Resurface at Various Locations in Carroll County This Contract consists of milling, patching, and resurfacing asphalt pavements and line striping at various locations in Carroll County. This work may also include bridge approaches, and deep patching. The following roadways are under consideration at the time of advertisement for bid: The work will consist of the following: MD 27- MD 26 to Nicodemus Road MD 97 - MD 26 to Morgan Run MD 30 BU - MD 30 to North Woods Trail Various Bridge Approaches and Patching Anticipated, Locations TBD The locations are tentative and may vary depending on conditions and circumstances. The Administration reserves the right to add or delete from the above list. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. Special attention is directed to GP-5.06, Cooperation Between Contractors. DBE Participation (%) 12.0 A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
