Description

Project Owner: City of Piqua Name: Lock 9 Park Improvements (the "Project") Location: 125 East Water Street, Piqua, Ohio 45356 Delivery Method: Construction Manager at Risk, in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code Deadline to Submit Qualifications: 4 PM February 24, 2023 The Owner's estimated construction budget for the Project (including all construction costs and construction manager at risk fees) is $5,800,000.00 Communication Protocol: All questions concerning this RFQ shall be directed in writing via email to: Chris Schmiesing, City of Piqua Community and Economic Development Director cschmiesing@piquaoh.gov by 5pm, 7 calendar days prior to the submittal deadline. Questions will be reviewed, and the Owner will determine whether any addenda should be issued as a result of any pertinent or substantive inquiries. Addenda will be issued to all firms that have requested the RFQ for the Project. Firms shall not rely on any oral instructions or answers. Respondents should not seek to discuss any information directly relating to this procurement with any Owner personnel or anyone affiliated with the Project, including Gamble Associates, except during scheduled site visits, or as otherwise provided for in the RFQ. Violation of this provision may result in disqualification from eligibility for selection. The construction of various park improvements to the Lock 9 Park in the City of Piqua. Site work to include storm sewer, water, electrical, site grading, pavement/sidewalk work and landscaping. The Project entails the improvements for the Lock 9 Park which will generally include restoration of portions of the lock walls, earthwork, construction of a performance pavilion structure, terracing, a splash pad, retaining walls and pavement surfaces, landscaping and various other items incidental to creating a quality public park space. An attached rendering generally depicts the Project.
