Water and Sewer Systems Improvements

Furnishing and installing about 7 miles of PVC, HDPE, and Certa-Lok PVC water line ranging in size from 8" to 3/4". Included in the water line is 610 linear feet of 8" DR 18 Certa-Lok C900 PVC water line. Also included in the project are gate valves, fire hydrants, flush valves, boring, encasement, water service re-connections, main line connections, pavement repair, and incidentals. In addition to water line improvements, the contractor shall furnish and install about 1.6 miles of PVC gravity sewer line ranging in size from 10" to 4". Sewer service taps, flowable fill, fiberglass manholes, and incidentals are also included in the project. The city will receive a deductible alternate bid #1 for the deletion of the asphalt and base repair in favor of the city making the repairs. The city will also receive a deductible alternate bid #2 for deletion of about one mile of 8" PVC water line.
