Replace Roof at Franklin Canyon, Doheny House

The National Park Service (NPS), Santa Monica Mountains NRA (SAMO), has a requirement for the replacement of the roof at Franklin Canyon, Doheny House. The project is located in Los Angeles County, CA. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, clean-up, qualified personnel and supervision to complete the work as identified in the Statement of Work (SOW) provided as attachment to this solicitation. The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to: - Remove and dispose of all existing roofing materials, and any rotten sheathing/decking. - Repair or replace any rotten or damaged sheathing/decking with new in-kind or like material. - Re-roof with similar roofing material and color. - Furnish and install 50# or recommended felt over the entire roof area including new drip edge flashing. - Furnish and install new flashing for all roof penetrations, including curb flashings, chimney flashings, valley flashings, roof jacks and vents etc. - Paint roof jacks and vents to match color of newly installed roofing material. - Remove existing gutters and downspouts. Install new gutters and new downspouts. - Remove and re-install any wireless rooftop internet or communication antennas as well any solar panels must be removed and re-installed. Per the requirements of FAR 36.204, the project range is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238990, with a corresponding size standard of $19.0 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. This acquisition is a Total Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. All responsible sources with SB status may submit a quotation which, if timely received, will be considered. Offers received from concerns that are not Small Business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed price contract. Award selection will be made on a Best Value basis made after consideration of price and factors other than price (relevant experience, past performance, and a Valid California Contractors "B" License) as listed in the Request for Quotation (RFQ).
